Dubai International Airport expansion (SP070-Concourse C, B &, T1) will raise the capacity of the airport from 60 million to 90 million passengers per year by 2018. The project also involves construction of additional terminal space in terminal 2 and concourse 4 covering an extra areas of 675,000 square meters of floor space.

The project will also extend the arrivals hall to include more food and retail outlets. The arrival immigration hall will be upgraded to reduce processing time for arriving passengers. The renovation will also involve the replacement of all check-in desks and a more spacious departure hall.
