The swooping design for the main Expo Station is inspired by the wings of an airplane located at Expo site will be a landmark. The length of the station will be double the size of the Metro trains which are 87 metres long, the platforms will be wider and the accessibility to the trains will be better. The Expo station will be the biggest on the entire Dubai Metro network, accommodating 23,000 passengers per hour per direction.
